Companhia Cepa Torta is recruiting a person responsible for the production and communication (except for the press office) of the activities of the MALACATE project, located in Mina de S. Domingos, Mértola.
Immediate entry and with a fixed-term employment contract until June 2023.
The place of work will be centralized in Mina de S. Domingos.
MALACATE is a multidisciplinary artistic intervention project, financed by the EEA Grants program and by the Mértola City Council, of contemporary artistic programming and creation that, using artists and the history of Mina de S. Domingos and in a continuous process of mediation with its community, it proposes to reflect on the memory of the place and to create new perspectives on the future.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The producer, who will report directly to the artistic direction, will have the following main functions:
Maintenance of a Production Dossier and a Communication Dossier that complies with the MALACATE project activities plan;
Organizing, planning, executing, controlling and supporting the reporting of all activities included in the Malacate project activity plan;
Contribution to the organization of the financial file in partnership with the responsible TOC and the management team;
Be an important interlocutor between the different project stakeholders;
Interconnection with the press office and those responsible for graphic design;
Communicate effectively on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Blog), through posts, stories and events;
Use the network management tools (Google Drive or others) shared by the Management and the Artistic Direction;
Contribute whenever possible to the mediation processes of the different activities included in the project, including informal meetings and meetings with community members, as well as supporting artists in the process of contacting local participants. Reporting to the artistic direction in all mediation processes.
WHAT WE OFFER
The contract offered is based on remuneration of €1,000 (one thousand euros) + holiday, Christmas and meal allowances, and will last for the duration of the project, that is, until June 2023. It will include a trial period of 1 month.
